Dear all, school's reopening soon in a few days' time. Time really flies man. 1 Nov, any idea what were we doing? Yeah, class party in the canteen. 1 Dec? Smart Smart...Chalet BBQ. 2 Jan? LOL Work for me, Study for you...yet again. The journey continues; homework's coming! More homework..doubled, tripled this time round. 24 hrs will nvr b enough 4 you soon. Some of you may find it tiring after a long day in skool. Some of you will enjoy it and nvr wanna go home to rest. You may skip dinner sessions with your families in time to come as you buzz yourself in school activities till late in the evenings. But do remember to rest well daily. Sleep is very important during your growing up years.

I was back from staff meeting in a resort in JB today. 2D1N. It looks like the time last year when I knew that I would be taking 6C 2008. But 2009 will be different as my form class pupils will be completely new to me. Got2 teach them how to take attendance (Sandra / Vila), how to take care of the class as monitors (Noah, Sandra, Irfan) , carry out AV duties (ZheWei, Godwin, Stanley, JuHang), Hsekeeping and cleanliness duties etc... Should be very challenging as they are still prob in their 8 yrs old stage...growing up to become 9 yrs old.

How's preparations for 2009? I hope you have been reading up, doing lots of revision work esp in Math as you will tend to forget even the easiest operations if you hadn't been practising. Well, I'ld say I'm ready for Day 1 and the new year ahead. Taking 6A 2009 through for their English Language lessons will be more challenging than 6C 2008.

Sick sick o today - runny and blocked nose. Despite this, my wife and I went to Grand Hyatt Straits Kitchen for early X'mas feast. It is a Halal-certified restaurant which serves local cuisines. Quite a wide spread though if u'r really into local dishes. Nth to buy from Orchard for me today. Perhaps was the drowsiness effect from the medicine I had taken.

Then we went over to Bugis Junction to have dessert. She had her fav Mango Pomelo w Sago while I tried smthing new - Water Chestnut w Herbal Jelly.

Put on a mask when I went over to see Caeden. Didn't wanna spread any virus to him else it would be terrible shd he b sick.

Tmr gng to skool to help in the PE Training for bball, netball and soccer players. I asked Noah, JuHang and ZheWei along c if they wanna join in but only ZheWei is free. Duno if he'ld drag Renaldo to cm as well.

Hvn't been updating for the past few days. Had a few shopping trips. Bought a no. of classic DVDs from Gramophone n MJ n my monthly Hong Kong Movie Magazine from Kinokuniya. Should be quite busy watching DVDs and reading my magazine over the next 2 weeks of holidays left. What's up lately, 6C?

My wife bought me a X'mas present - a NIKE Sports bag, quite big enuff to put in a pair of shoes (hidden sports shoes compartment). K bring it around next year to school and outings. Oh, she organised a BBQ down my block for her friends last Friday. Quite nice weather after passing showers...finished most of the food. The flame was excellent, better than the class BBQ..

Caeden? Still the same lately except that he likes to blurrr his saliva now. Dirty boy!

Haven't been updating coz we've been busy this weekend. We went to HortPark on Friday afternoon. Then weekend had a stay at Hotel Intercontinental after attending a wedding banquet. Bought Caeden a high-chair today for him to sit while eating porridge and watching Barney & Friends.

We went to Rasa Sentosa for a 1N escapade from the mainland. LOL. nthing much to do at Sentosa if u r nt a beach-lover. We rode 2 times on the Skyride (almost killed me lor...heart palpitating...) n the Luge-- very fun and exciting... Then went over Vivocity to have dinner and we watched BOLT - very nice movie. Check it out!

My dearie wife selected and bought a SONY Laptop today. She has been wanting one since the demise of her 4-year old COMPAQ which had developed Dementia since ??? when. Pink, her favourite colour is the colour of the VIAO she bought. Very expensive lor... but she likes...she paid. LOL

5 Dec 2008, my parents brought me to shave my hair coz it has grown unevenly. Sad Sad, look like a new NSF recruit. But I kinda enjoy the process. Laughed as the shaver roughed over my head. Now, I feel nice and cool up there! Swam in the spa after the haircut. Today, I swam for 15 min. Longer than the previous.

Daddy n Mummy went on a shopping spree. Yes, at GAP coz ther's 30% + 10% sale. I, being a GAP boy, of course got a few new apparel. Yawn...had a long day out there.

I bought my first ever game console... Pearl White PSP with 2 games - Sims2Pets (nt 4 me though) n PES2009 (4 me). $329 inclusive of 1 free game - the former. $39 for a 4GB Memory Card. Wow...was it an impulse purchase? Hmmm...saw so many pple playing in trains, during reservist n during chalet while ZheWei was playing, k actually play whole night w'out sleeping. Maybe it'ld b the alternative companion in my next reservist, apart from my DVD player.

But still winless after 7 games...paiseh...still learning the ropes. LOL

It was Caeden's 1st swim in a public pool on Monday - . He LOVES it man...splashing water with his hands. Very daring boy who even wanted to go deeper into the wading pool. He could be the next swimmer in the making. LOL... He also took 3 different rides @ Escape Theme Park...xD

28 of us + Ms Lim + myself n my family came, had fun and left with many memorable memories. The success of the BBQ n Chalet was from everyone who had attended though those who couldn't stay had to rush to complete their BBQ-ing. Apologies for that. The flame could have been stronger in future so as everyone k put in his or her effort to try BBQ-ing.

To the 7 of u who stayed, hoped u had fun bowling, having McDonald's, watching Black Hawk Down (omit the high frequency words...), staying up until wee hours in the morning and swimming at such early morning. Rest well as the lack of sleep may hamper your next few days' activities.
